The Clubhouse, walls, buildings (except the pump house), the main driveway (including kerbs) from the front gate to the bowling green car park, bridges, tree stumps, flag poles and jetty at the 18th hole.
(i) The artificial surfaces and sides of roads and paths (with the exception of the main driveway from the front gate to the Bowling Green car park). (ii) Railways sleepers, artificial edges and bells at the 5th and 18th holes. (iii) The pump house at the 18th hole. (iv) Fixed sprinkler heads. (v)The steps into the greenside bunker at the 17th hole.
Ballydrain Lake, the ponds to the left and right of the 2nd hole on the Edenderry Nine, and the drainage channel in front of the 6th green on the Edenderry Nine are lateral water hazards at all times.
Where a staked tree interferes with a player’s stance or area of intended swing, the ball MUST be lifted and dropped without penalty within one club length of the nearest point of relief from all young trees (i.e. trees not taller than two club lengths in height).
There are NO greenkeepers cuttings piled for removal
Grass faces of bunkers are NOT deemed as closely mown areas.
A ball lying on a practice putting green MUST be lifted and dropped in accordance with Rule 25-3.
On the day or days of a competition other than match play, competitors may practise ONLY: (i) On the practice grounds to the left and right of the main drive; (ii) On the practice putting green; and (iii) Onto the practice green behind the Clubhouse (within the areas marked)
Stones in Bunkers are movable obstructions (Rule 24-1 applies).
