Dress in the Clubhouse

The dress code for Malone is in general smart casual, apart from the Dining Room and the Stevenson Room (upstairs bar) where gentlemen are asked to wear a jacket and tie. This rule is relaxed in the Dining Room on Sundays, when a tie need not be worn. Golfers are asked to abide by the rules below, and their golfing attire will then be acceptable in the clubhouse.

Dress on the Course

Visitors are expected to observe the Club's dress code at all times. The following items of dress are unacceptable at all times on the Course and Club grounds:

  • Denim jeans
  • Shirts without collars or sleeves
  • Track suits and leisure suits
  • Sweaters without shirts
  • Garments displaying slogans
  • Training shoes
  • Trousers tucked inside socks

Tailored shorts may be worn with knee length socks or white sports socks

Mobile Phones

The use of mobile phones is prohibited anywhere on the course. They may be used in the Car Park, the front entrance lobby of the Clubhouse and the golfers' reception lobby ONLY.
